Rob has returned to his musical roots playing classical violin/Celtic fiddle and mandolin. On this CD Water Music One Rob is focusing on the 12 string guitar. His great uncle Joseph Kitchen was the founder and conductor of the Cedar Rapids Symphony and a violin professor at Coe College. Aunt Flora McKay Kitchen was a well known pianist. Rob started playing violin in 4th grade. At Florida State University Rob played at festivals, coffee houses and on WFSU TV, with Joe Shannon, Bev Watkins Lavender and Ellen Scruggs.
